This album is for my husband's birthday. I don't think that it will be complete by his birthday, but I wanted to show off how it's coming along. I've LOVED every minute of the work that I've done on this project ..
Aren't we all On the Fence about something? Is it this job or the next one? This hobby or another one? This meal or an alternate one? My blog is about the choices that I make. Sometimes it's as simple as "what did I cook" & sometimes as complicated as "where am I going on my next trip".... Come along with me & see which side of the fence I'm on.

Tea Swap card & Good Luck on New Job card
Today was a productive day. I made this card for the August Tea Swap. The theme is "Pink" & I really enjoyed working on it. The flower on this card was made by my dear friend, Zeffy. It matched perfectly. For the inside pockets I used a doily cut in half.
This card is for a colleague that's leaving our Dept. The chicken connection is one that she'll instantly understand & we, as a Dept., want her to think fondly of us after she's left. We hope that this card brings a smile to her face. I loved the colors & think that they reflect our personalities within the office.

3 Cards on a Saturday
Here are some cards that I made today ... I'm pleased with how they came out ... Let me know what you think ~
This is the engagement card that I made for our nephew. He recently proposed (& she said "yes"). I wanted to make them a card to celebrate this very special day.
This card I'm calling Bride to Be ... but I'm not sure who I'm going to give it to. I wanted to play with a doily, an image that I received in a RAK & some lovely papers that I had around the house. The lace matched perfectly & I think that the bling in the hair adds so much.
I love Webster's Pages & look for any opportunity to use them. This card was made using a 6 x 6 page & I intentionally left the sentiment off so I can add it whenever I want to use it. This card would be a lovely birthday card or a fun "new home" card or an elegant thank you card. I'm keeping my options open.
